The member of Parliament on the ticket of Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, popularly known as Kennedy Akom Preko has dropped another secret and a bombshell.
And this secret and bombshell has to do with UT bank, ( Unique Trust). Particularly, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong listed individuals who contributed to the collapse of the bank.
This names were mentioned in his attempt to repute the fact that the Akuffo Addo led government have been a watchdog for the collapse of the financial institutions in Ghana.
This secret revelation from Hon. Kennedy Agyapong on the persons who contributed to the collapse of UT bank happened on Hello FM, a sister station of Peace FM in Kumasi on 7th November, 2020.
In Hon. Kennedy Agyapong’s statement he explained that UT bank was a dying financial institutions until the former president John Mahama injected 800 million Ghana into the company to give it a standing.
Notwithstanding this push from John Mahama’s government, UT bank did not change from the old habits that was causing the failure of the institutions.
Meaning he went ahead giving big loans to certain key individuals. And it was out of this that contributed significantly to the collapse of the bank.

2. Abrahim -260 million Ghana CEDI’s
3. Kofi Job
Regarding Kofi Job, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong did not mention the amount that was given to him.
