The scuffle that was said to have ensued between Stonebwoy and Angel Town, the manager of the celebrated rapper Sarkodie dominated the headlines a few days ago.
According to viral news that made rounds on social media and other mainstream platforms, Stonebwoy wasn’t happy about the kind of treatment meted out to him when he got to Sarkodie’s residence for rehearsals ahead of the Black Love Virtual Concert.
Different accounts have emerged from eyewitnesses about what truly transpired and we have made a compilation of three possible reasons why Stonebwoy assaulted the bulky looking Angel Town. It was even alleged by entertainment pundit and filmmaker Ola Michael that Stonebwoy pulled a gun during the confrontation.
However, Aisha Mode, a very close friend and confidant of the Bhim Nation Boss however said Stonebwoy never pulled a gun. Stonebwoy doesn’t have a gun. All his guns were seized after the Shatta Wale –VGMA incident,’ she told an online portal today in an interview.
In the same vein, rapper Yaa Pono is not happy about the manner at which Stonebwoy always brandishes guns with the least provocation. Reacting to the news, Yaa Pono tweeted; ‘1,2 gun 1,2 gun the day u go hear 3,4 u go dey have discussion with echo.
So let’s demarcate what we also think in these three areas.
1. Stonebwoy was very annoyed that he wasn’t allowed to pack at a particular spot, yet Shatta Wale was allowed to pack at the same spot he was denied earlier. This made him angry and confronted the organizers (herein Angel Town). He also complained that other artistes were made to park at the ‘forbidden’ place yet a big star like him was denied that privilege.
2. Although he arrived earlier, he was delayed severally while the likes of Shatta Wale who came later was given preferential treatment and allowed to perform while he was still waiting. This made Stonebwoy lose his cool as he wondered why he was being ‘humiliated.’
3. Angel Town reportedly added insult to injury when he tried to explain things to Stonebwoy but rather made certain pronouncements that angered the Nominate crooner resulting in the scuffle.
Meanwhile Stonebwoy has apologised to Angel Town, who is presently receiving treatment for his bruised eyes, for the unfortunate incident.
Sarkodie has reportedly unfollowed Stonebwoy on Twitter while his name has been taken out from the artistes billed to perform at the Black Love Virtual Concert. Gratefully, the two camps have patched up after Stonebwoy paid a visit to Angel Town together with his wife.
